HF Net at W5RRR

HF Net the next four weeks or longer starting at 6:30pm CST.

Using EchoLink W5RRR or the W5RRR repeater as a starting point we are going to work HF on 20M(14mhz), 40M(7mhz), 80M(3-4mhz) depending on conditions and input. If you start on the repeater or EchoLink then we can communicate what band and frequency we are working with. Normally at that time 20 is on the decline, 40 and 80 are coming in.

If some of the other NASA Centers want to join in on the fun that would be great to make some contacts.

We will be monitoring W5RRR repeater as a go-to starting point.

6:30pm – 7:00pm CST Tuesdays

  1. Suggestion: when using CST o /CDT times, I found using CT is very effective. Then it doesn’t matter whether the time is really CST during CDT or CDT during CST. It just IS. Also, it doesn’t required editing when the CST/CDT time change occurs.
