Jamboree-on-the-Air is held the third weekend in October. A change in policy from previous years, there is no set time for the start or end. Since it isn’t a contest, there’s no designating starting point. When your station is ready to go, get on the air and make contacts. You'll have the whole weekend.
CQ Worldwide DX Contest SSB
The CQ WW is the largest Amateur Radio competition in the world. Over 35,000 participants take to the airwaves on the last weekend of October (SSB) and November (CW) with the goal of making as many contacts with as many different DXCC entities and CQ Zones as possible. 0000Z Oct 28 to 2400Z Oct 29
