As an active participant of NASA On the Air (NOTA), W5RRR got on the air on Dec 6, 2025 to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the Apollo 17 mission.
Once again, hams were treated with our VIP operator, Milt Heflin K5KRM, who famously was onboard the USS Ticonderosa to retrieve the crew and capsule during mission splashdown.
